Cherry
Just wondered if anyone currently has a dc staying with a host family, in Tring. Is there an agency dealing with the host families in the area?
LouiseT
Hi my DD is going to Elmhurst in September so we have a spare room he is currently at Tring Park Associates and goes to school in Tring. We live in Tring 10 minutes away, are you looking for somewhere for your DD?

Peanut68
Hello - hope you do not mind be joining this one....my DC currently boarding at Tring but to enable them to remain we may need to see if we can reduce costs significantly. I would be really interested to know a) what age Tring Students any host families might take on would it generally be weekly boarding or follow regular school set up with exeats etc & c) how much If anyone can shed any light - even guessitmates on price - it would be really helpful. Thank you!
Peanut68
That symbol was meant to be a 'b)' - still no idea how this predictive stuff kicks in....mind you I am pretty much a technophobe!
LouiseT
Hi I am not sure what the going rate is for host families but I am presuming it would be less than boarding at the school. Might be worth talking to Tring Park about what age Dc's can be with a host family.
Dancer's Driver
Hi, Also inerested in Host Families for 3rd year Dancer from Sept 2015. Just left a message at school but any info / suggestions very gratefully received thanks x
Peanut68
I understand Tring (probably for many sensible & obvious reasons) do not get directly involved with any arrangements for offsite living with host families etc. But it does happen so does anyone have any information about Hosts, typical costs & way it might work? Any information - the sooner the better - will be much appreciated as options are looked into! Thank you

Jan McNulty
Hello Dancer18 and welcome to the Forum! Good luck with sorting out your accommodation. Is there anyone at the school you could discuss this with who may be able to help you find a host family?
