Wish22
Hi All, Does anyone know of any dance schools in London or Surrey (other than RAD headquarters) that offer evening/weekend Contemporary Dance Classes?
LinMM
Well the Rambert now on the South Bank just behind the National Theatre does. Also the Place between Euston and Kings Cross definitely does. Central school has at least one in the week in the evening. If I think of any more will get back to you! Anna C
Hi Wish22, For what age/ability are you looking? Are you looking for a term/year at a time, or drop in classes?
LinMM
Also City Academy has several levels of Contemporary during the week in the evening. And I believe Dance works near Selfridges has one!
taximom
I would recommend the place where there are both adult and young peoples classes. The CAT ( Centre for Advanced Training) has just opened applications which could also be considered. the Place is the home for Richard Alston Dance Company and London Contemporary Dance School.
Wish22
Hi Wish22, For what age/ability are you looking? Are you looking for a term/year at a time, or drop in classes? Looking for my 16 year old who hopes to audition for vocational ballet schools over the next two years. I thought it would help her application/auditon to have had some experience.

LinMM
http://www.rambert.org.uk/learning_participation/rambert_classes/summer_classes_youth This page could be interesting for Rambert as it has targeted age groups and it looks like they do two classes a week in your daughters age group! Anna C
I agree with taximom about The Place; if the CAT scheme isn't feasible for any reason, they also do midweek classes for 15-19 year olds: http://www.theplace.org.uk/mid-week-classes Here's a link to the CAT Scheme at The Place too: http://www.theplace.org.uk/centre-advanced-training-
Pas de Quatre
Have you looked at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, they have lots of classes in the evenings as well as running a CAT scheme.
