Gowiththeflo
Yes, you too. My tip when applying for both would be fill out both forms side by side on the screen.... ( they're almost identical- full time needs a bit more info about dc's current school) i did mine seperately, and had to 'find' / remember all the information again! Full time/ associates audition fee is &45, summer school is £20 Job done. Now i can relax. ........for a bit.......????

Picturesinthefirelight
Dd thinks it's a jazz/modern based class.
Picturesinthefirelight
My guess is more modern than jazz seeing as they don't do jazz until year 10.

Dreamy11
Hope the Elmhurst auditions went well for everyone today, now the wait! If you get invited back to the next audition is it just for funding or is it still to decide places?
balletmum20
If you get invited back to finals it's still for a place x
Dreamy11
Ok thanks so it's not just to decide on funding then, it's still to work out who will actually get a place. Thanks
balletmum20
Yes that's right, I've heard about 40 go to finals and then they decide out of that 40 who has a place x

Dreamy11
Anyone on here had a chd offered a place at Elmhurst this year that wasn't for year 7? Just wondering what the likelihood is past year 7? And with mds. Thanks
mimi'smom
My dd is currently in year 10 and the year group has had 7 girls and 3 boys join at various points since the start of year 7. I believe, but am happy to be corrected, that all who are eligible for MDS are offered it. So yes, it is most certainly possible x
balletmum20
For Tring audition tomorrow are people wearing tights or socks?? For year 7 x
sarahw
Usually socks I think for Y7.
Dreamy11
I think it says in the letter, I'm sure ours says tights but dd is a bit older
Dreamy11
Those children that do a ballet solo do they just wear the same leotard they have worn earlier in the audition or do some change?
sarahw
Yes - there's no time to change. Use convertible tights if the solo is in bare feet. Good luck!
Lou78
It definitely says tights in the letter so that is what DD will be wearing ????
