Ondine
Apologies if already posted, though I haven't spotted it. https://www.roh.org.uk/tickets-and-events/festival/rhythm-in-resilience-festival-details For Black History Month, The Royal Ballet present Rhythm in Resilience, a new festival curated by Joseph Toonga, The Royal Ballet’s Choreographic Residency 23/24, which celebrates Black excellence within the Company over the years. As part of this there are two Insight events, one (possibly both?) will be livestreamed. Edited October 1, 2023 by Ondine

It's worth going to Youtube and reading her bio under the interview with her uncle (from 2021). Edited October 3, 2023 by Ondine
Emeralds
I can’t do the 5th but it would be great for anyone keen on new works. In particular Miguel Altunaga has made some short pieces that are really powerful and compelling. Would be interesting to see what Winnie Dias (an experienced choreographer and beautiful dancer herself) and the other participants create. Am a bit surprised that Joseph Tonga isn’t presenting a piece for this event....wonder how long the pieces are and whether there was enough time in the programme. This special edition of Draft Works brings a collection of new voices from The Royal Ballet and beyond It's good that the 23 - 24 Aud Jebson dancers have been given this opportunity for new work to be created on and with them, and Rebecca Stewart seems a remarkable young person, one to watch! Hopefully a forum member will be there and we will have a report. A tenner, total bargain.
