It says on the website that the ticket can be printed out for presentation at the theatre. This page is referring to Hairspray but contains the relevant information: https://londoncoliseum.org/your-visit/how-to-book/
Bruce Wall
No list of prospective dancers this year? I guess it will depend on the travel codes at the time. I would imagine it will be very hard to plan. Also, I just note that you cannot - at least at the moment - book a seat in the balcony!! Amelia
You can, Bruce, buy Balcony tickets now.
Beryl H
Well, I managed to get a seat in the Balcony today, although less good, not sure what I did as it still came up with error messages, but I got through! The mobile phone number is for the NHS Track and Trace, surely by November it won't be needed! The other irritating thing today was not being able to leave a single seat next to me, don't think this is anything to do with Covid, of course the chances of this Gala happening at all hang in the balance, hope it goes ahead as it's on a Friday this year not Sunday which makes it easier. FionaM
Sadly no Bolshoi or Mariinsky or other Russia-based Russians, not even Xander Parish. I assume due to travel restrictions, such as Sputnik vaccine not being on UK govt list of approved vaccines for travel. Understandable in this situation, but still sad for a Gala that was originally the Russian Ballet Icons Gala. And the Bolshoi/Mariinsky dancers were the main draw for me. However, despite all this … it’s an interesting array of European-based dancers. I am Looking forward to it. P.S. Denis Vieira is not on the Bayerische Staatsballett company list. I don’t know where he is now.
Dawnstar
I think that looks like a great cast list. I'd especially like to see Andrijashenko live again. Unfortunately, looking at the Coliseum's website, I see the prices are just as eye-watering as they were for previous galas pre-covid. I'll have to think about it.
Beryl H
This looks fabulous, all the dancers I know I very much like and look forward to seeing, shame about the Russian Companies, but I must admist that of all the Covid vaccines, the Sputnik is one of the less attractive!
