But Hugh Jackman has had quite a career in stage musicals - he won a Tony for The Boy from Oz and was nominated for an Olivier for Oklahoma!.

Thinking about it, extra tickets probably won't be available until after 21 November (as that's the date until which existing ticket-holders can discuss seating requirement with the box office), but don't quote me on that!

I have been notified that the "In Conversation with Marianela Núñez" event on 13 December is being moved to the Linbury. This should mean more tickets being available so keep your eyes peeled if you're looking for one.

RBS Statement on Ballet Competition Culture
bangorballetboy replied to AllAboutTheJourney's topic in Doing Dance
Worth mentioning that the minimum age for the RBS is measured at the end of the academic year (31 August), so someone who turns 16 during the academic year is eligible to join the Upper School. -
Royal Ballet Japan tour June 2019
bangorballetboy replied to Naomi M's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
Yes, but as it's not in the public domain it can't be publicised here. -
I don't think you can draw any conclusions from the order of the pieces, which is how it has been since before booking opened in July.

The use of Nothung to kill Siegfried last night was an act of necessity as the spear had been accidentally kicked off stage!

Royal Ballet School holding more international auditions
bangorballetboy replied to DD Driver's topic in Doing Dance
Gary Norman is no longer a member of staff at the Royal Ballet School. -
I think it's rather disappointing that someone else hasn't been given the opportunity to take Hayward's Unknown Soldier shows (or Naghdi's, if she were to take Hayward's). I suppose this means there wasn't a cover and, to me, that's not a good state of affairs.

If you're wanting to do that, I would suggest you hold the "new" tickets in your basket right up until the box office person is ready to do the exchange.

The only bewigged Rudolf I can recall in recent years was Johan Kobborg, and that’s because he didn’t have much hair of his own. Both Watson and McRae have natural ginger hair and fair complexions, so I don’t think there’s any artificial “enhancement“ there.

No. I think he left the stage as he had a bit of a cough.

Queen's Birthday Honours 2018
bangorballetboy replied to capybara's topic in Ballet / Dance news & information
It is in the public domain. It’s on Wikipedia and easy to find if you look. Nothing to do with the honours list, but was in the context of the discussion.
