  1. I have SCS D26 available for tomorrow's performance. Face value is £6, please PM if interested. I may be delayed in responding to PMs this afternoon due to John Ross's funeral.
  2. The third answer on google told me that Rist's MA is from Hammond.
  3. Surely the only thing that can be done about restricted view seating for dance performances in the Linbury (and remember it's designed to be a flexible performance space, so the seats with limited view for a traditional stage setting may be better seats for something that is in the round) is to reflect that in the price; I very much doubt they're going to rip up the seats in a new theatre to change sightlines. That is something that should, of course, be discussed with the Royal Ballet.
  4. I think it's worth noting that McNally drew inspiration from the Grant Wood's American Gothic and this helped my understanding of her piece based on 'a' true story somewhat.
  5. It was fine when I sat there for the Núñez in conversation, but I don't know what effect the adjustable rake may have on that.
  6. It's a simple limitation exercise as ROH has no control over whether questions from audience members are suitable for live transmission.
  7. I think it's more the point that the vast majority of new pieces in these sort of events appear to be full of angst or similar and so the dancers don't have the opportunity to look like they're enjoying themselves.
  8. Yes, she has danced this season in Rubies with Osiel Gouneo (I was there for their first performance) and Marie in the Nutcracker.
  9. Any presents I send are always addressed to "The ladies of the corps de ballet" or "The gentlemen of the corps de ballet", as appropriate.
  10. The RB ballet mistress seems to use the terms "girls" and "ladies" interchangeably.
  11. Yes there was. I took a picture of the notice at the cloakroom programme point and saw the one at the desk in the main foyer.
  12. R&J is about 80-85% sold, which doesn't seem to me to be too much off an issue at this stage. Some shows have about 150 seats left (mostly in the slips and mid-price amphi) so that's about 93% sold. The less well sold shows are at weekends and towards the end of the run.
  13. There's 58 tickets available for tonight and 110 for the performance on 13th; those figures don't suggest to me the need for an offer (given the costs involved in advertising the offer). Not quite the same for the RBS shows, but it seems to me that the AM/2Pigs bill sold better as the shows approached.
  14. I have the following SCS available for R&J on 26 April, face value £11 each: D3 D52 D53 (marked as restricted view). Please PM if interested in any of these.
