  1. They are listed chronologically - the earliest in the day is at the bottom of that day's listing and it goes upwards from there. The calendar view is very well formatted for viewing on a smartphone, where each day is a drop down menu, so there's not so much scrolling there.
  2. This is an official government campaign that, as you say, has been running since 2012. I assume the ROH have only recently been "asked" to be included.
  3. “SCS” means stalls circle standing. All the D tickets in the stalls circle are standing places (D27 and D28 are the most central, being either side of the lighting box).
  4. As I mentioned above, Pajdak WAS NOT replaced as the peasant girl. She was excellent in this role during the matinée. I also agree that a bit of a wobble on the first day back after the Christmas break counts for naught in what was a beautifully emotional Prayer.
  5. Sorry, Pajdak was both the peasant girl (i.e. the one who dances the czardas with Franz) and Prayer at the matinée (I commented at the first interval that Padjak made the peasant girl a character rather than just a role). IIRC, Buvoli was the second to appear of the lead peasants (so many peasants, it gets quite confusing).
  6. A wonderful show all round this afternoon. Absolutely glorious debut from an exceptionally expressive Anna Rose O’Sullivan.
  7. It’s more than 50 years since the first Joseph (albeit that original was a 15 minute concept piece) and tickets for the last revival at the Palladium in 2019 were like gold dust. Phantom (1986) is the longest running show in Broadway history (by some way) and is still putting bums on seats both there and in the west end.
  8. Lightweights! 😎 I’m seeing it eight times between 28 Dec and 7 Jan!
  9. Just sorting through some photos (as my camera complained it was full during the Enigma curtain calls tonight) and I came across this picture again.
  10. If you wait for the wind to change then Mary Poppins will leave
  11. I was a little perturbed by the additional person in the scene where Juliet is given the sleeping draught.
  12. Saddened to learn that Elyse Borne has died.
