  1. It's going to incredibly difficult to get tickets for the RBS performances in the Linbury (and, to an extent, on the main stage) as the school have confirmed the parents of the students will have priority (I'll let you know how booking for RBS Friends goes).
  2. There were intervals during the December 2020 Nutcrackers and, with bars and restaurants open for limited service, I imagine there will be for these programmes too.
  3. The chaos on the LTA's choice of ticketing website this morning (priority booking for Queen's, Birmingham, Eastbourne) is so much worse than anything I've ever seen from any entertainment/culture venue.
  4. Same as the last couple of booking periods, select a section then choice of price range (plus boxes in GT and balcony). Appears to be no SCS available.
  5. When I did my booking this morning, I was able to book more than 4 tickets over the run of each programme (don't know about the actual per performance limit as I only booked 2 for each).
  6. Exactly. I see nothing negative for the ROH here, other than they would have to go through the process of finding another chair of trustees (and I’m sure they can manage that).
  7. This was in the Sunday Times yesterday. I’m not sure I would describe it as “further problems” though.

  9. Lovely walk on the Common this afternoon - Egyptian goslings (unfortunately down to 6 from 9), grey heron, robins, tits (great and blue), squirrels, green woodpecker and a Royal Ballet dancer!
  10. I don’t think anyone knows. There’s nothing in any of the main Ashton sources.
  11. The auction website is here but the catalogue is not available yet.
  12. Exactly what I was thinking as I re-read the statement! The Dante Project and Like Water for Chocolate were already commissioned and had been announced previously. I imagine you're right about others having been commissioned too.
  13. More tickets for everyone else then. Swan Lake, Romeo & Juliet and The Nutcracker will sell out and Giselle will probably too. Given how much the ROH will need money in the coffers, beggars can't be choosers.
  14. Requiem please (with Romany Pajdak, and others, doing the Pie Jesu).
  15. Not everyone is on first name terms with professional dancers so may I suggest we show appropriate courtesy to both dancers and other users of this board?
  16. Not quite sure I need any more spice than to be back seeing live performance!
  17. Yesterday was my last West End show before the theatres went dark. Was due to see the same show on the day they did...
  18. It’s been in the main French newspapers (see Naomi’s original post for one example).
  19. At an event yesterday evening Alex Beard confirmed that (provided the rules allow) the ROH will be reopening with performances with an audience from 17 May. Expect an announcement on programming in a couple of weeks or so.
