  1. The position of the mods is that members should bear in mind the fact that a general rehearsal is a working rehearsal (and not a public performance) when commenting.
  2. that’s because it’s down (along with WhatsApp and Instagram)
  3. This is what I do as well (where there is a cast board - isn't always the case in London theatres even though I understand there is an agreement between Equity and SOLT to have them)
  4. And you can still have the memories by printing off the cast sheet (or, as @zxDaveM does, save the pdf)! That's what I have done with every performance so far with digital cast sheets (and not just at the ROH).
  5. You can always print it at home before you go to the theatre (admittedly this doesn't work for those who have a significant distance to travel). But the constituency of people negatively affected by this IMO grows smaller and smaller.
  6. Don't see why this is a problem. Surely if someone was that interested in having a paper record of a show they've attended, they would have printed off a copy for their records.
  7. ROH cast sheets are available here and they do seem to be available there for some time after the performance.
  8. Yes, there's an online form for the People's Choice Award here. The link is on the online cast sheets.
  9. For balance, there were no cast sheets at Sadlers' Wells for ENB's Creature. I have no problem with this whatsoever. It's the 21st century and I'd rather not have the ROH or any other arts venue wasting vast amounts of paper when they don't need to.
  10. If you ever want to find online cast sheets, I find google is the easiest (and usually quickest) way.
  11. here you go: cast sheets [this is the first link you find if you google “ENB creature cast sheets”]
  12. David Mellor, Virginia Bottomley, Tessa Jewell…
  13. If you had to use private tests for entry to venues, the relevant industries would collapse. Of course you can use an NHS LFT for entry to venues. You can’t use them for foreign travel.
  14. Precisely. And speaking as someone who was born about 14 months after Rojo, it it nowhere near 50!!!
  15. You already need to prove vaccination or a negative test to attend an event at the Albert Hall (and most theatres in London too).
  16. The stage door of every theatre in London is, so far as I am aware, closed to the public, with gifts and items to be signed not being accepted either. See, for example, this announcement:
  17. Not in the slightest. Have done a Wigmore Hall booking session too.
  18. There are additional surtitles in the amphitheatre, visible from about row K (I think) back.
  19. You could always take a lateral flow test for your own peace of mind. I wouldn't click on the link in the text message!
