  3. The score was written for the piece - the composer conducted the first performance (of the Cranko version - Britten was dead by the time MacMillan choreographed his version). Which major ballet score did you have in mind?
  4. You can find all the recent cast lists if you type "ROH cast sheets" into google and press search.
  5. I have had the very great pleasure of seeing the Pie Jesu solo performed by Romany Pajdak, a pleasure I hope to enjoy again sometime in the confines of the ROH auditorium!

  7. Monica Mason came on with Jeanetta Laurence. Lesley Collier came on after Ferri. From the outfits of the principal ladies, I would say green is very much in fashion!
  8. Fouetté turns were indeed done but there were not 32 of them (not a complaint, just a statement).
  9. To be fair, I wasn't responding to your post when I used a laughing emoji; I was responding to @JennyTaylor.

  11. The Friday before. If you look here, you'll see that tickets for Friday 11th are on sale this Friday.
  12. It is a rehearsal not a performance. They are different. They may make parts of their roles, the rehearsal may actually be stopped to redo something.
  13. Disappointing that someone can write people off in respect of a performance that they haven't yet seen.
  14. Thanks Lizbie. I meant to mention this a few days ago as I got an email from the Grand Opera House in Belfast about the tour!
  15. To be honest, I think it's rather disrespectful to refer to a professional by a name that she herself does not use in public (or, for all we know, at all).
  16. There is usually a 15 minute or so Q&A session after the rehearsal that is not streamed.
