  1. Just had one - but all OK after a refresh. I don't recall having seen this here before.
  2. A significant difference - and, if that's the true story, it's doubly worrying that, whilst trawling for this morning's Links, I saw a major tabloid still relaying the taxi from Reading version, allegedly the story according to the police. What I did not see was any mention of her having been found.

  4. I find it worrying and to a great degree, inconceivable, that this young woman left the hospital at around 9.30 this morning, lightly clothed in present conditions yet, some 14 hours later, there's not a word about her. Worse, one version I've seen mentions her getting into a taxi in Reading and asking to be taken to London. If that's true, what has the driver to say? And if the driver is unknown, whence came that report? Keeping an eye open for tomorrow's links, I first saw a report by around mid-day and, as I say, here we are, hours later, apparently with nothing further. Most troubling.

  6. My wife has a tale or two from her time with the RB Touring Company. One that seems to fit here concerns a performance of The Two Pigeons in Norwich. The curtain began to go up and action on stage had begun; the curtain jammed and still the feet could be seen doing Fred's steps to the music. Frantic efforts got the curtain to rise, but only in discrete stages, and it was apparently some time before the full panoply was revealed.

  9. OK - ditch the white and, improbable as it may seem, here's an all black costume for a piece named "Snow." https://www.antikbar.co.uk/original_vintage_posters/advertising_posters/neiges_marguerite_jamois/PA1656/ A random find on Twitter!
  10. Is black essential? If not, I offer Ashton's Monotones I & II and Balanchine's Apollo.

  17. Pardon my exasperation, but is there anyone who has anything at all new and substantiated, that could be put here under a full name, such that we might end this dispiriting round of allegation, innuendo, wishful thinking, and waffle, however heartfelt? There is no 'solution' to whatever situation now existing at ENB that is going to emerge here.
