  2. John, I fear that makes no difference ..... but this has all happened in the normal 14-point font size! These fluctuations are beyond me. Edit: About 2 minutes later, the normal view has restored itself, all unaided by anything I've done. Remarkable! Poltergeists??
  3. Something that appears to have passed us by is that Deborah Bull, former Royal Ballet Principal, has been made a Life Peer. I'm no expert here, but I assume that, as she will not be a Member of an Order (other than the CBE that she already holds), an elevation of this sort is not conferred by the normal Honours List. https://www.kcl.ac.uk/news/News-Article.aspx?id=102e4d3d-00b9-4a0f-8d99-d967fc850092
  4. The display issue remains and I see that I've now defaulted to a larger 16-point font size as well - still no idea why any of this has happened, and I've certainly not made any changes myself. Selecting 14 thankfully returns things to normal.
  5. So, exactly a month after launching this thread, I return with the 800th post to say we're just back from a Catch-up screening of this week's streamed performance. Greatly impressed and, more to the point, the lady of the house, a veteran of many, many performances of yesteryear, thoroughly enjoyed it - and that is praise, indeed, I may say. She has a few reservations about the costuming of the national dances, but nothing beyond that. Very well done all round.
  6. Since earlier this morning, when all was as normal, I now find that the righthand panel on our homepage has vanished and a list of 'New Topics' has appeared underneath the Member and Forum Statistics boxes. Something similar has also occurred on the Great War Forum, a site that also uses an InVision software package. This has happened using my customary Chrome browser on a Mac. All looks as usual, however, on both Firefox and Safari. Am I alone in this? If not, anyone with an explanation of what may have occurred?

  18. Anyone else remember from back in ballet.co days Eric Taub's description of a Rose Adagio at a New York Gala performance that became something of a continuing car crash with the supported pirouettes? I know at least one former Aurora who went into kinks reading about it. And mentioning Eric, I see that he has just had a review put on DanceTabs after something of a lengthy silence.
